Who owns blender market?

Hi, I’m just getting into 3D modelling and wondered who actually owns the blender market? I know that the Blender software itself is free and open source. But as blender marketplace is using the blender brand name, is it owned by the Blender foundation?

I assume you are referring to blendermarket.com? This is in fact owned by CG Cookie. You can find all their information on their about page:

The official blender.org site has a store but I think its mainly for merchandise associated with blender etc. You can sign up for blender studio which includes training, assets and tutorials but I’ve never used it so couldn’t give you anymore information:
